Soft Tissue

A soft tissue ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic imaging technique used to visualize the internal structure of soft tissue structures such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Soft tissue structures play an important role in the body’s movement and function, and injuries or conditions that affect these structures can have a significant impact on a person’s mobility and quality of life.

At Radiant Medical Imaging, we use state-of-the-art ultrasound technology to produce precise and accurate images of soft tissue structures and any abnormalities that may be present. Our highly qualified and experienced technologists are committed to providing you with the utmost attention and comfort throughout your test. The ultrasound itself is painless and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Soft tissue ultrasound can be used to diagnose and evaluate a wide range of conditions including muscle and tendon injuries, ligament tears, and other conditions that affect soft tissue structures. It can also be used to guide the biopsies of soft tissue structures. The results of the ultrasound will be reviewed by one of our radiologists and a report will be sent to your referring physician.
